CANADIAN BUSINESS REFERRALS
Business Referral Program Terms
1. Program and acceptance
These Business Referral Program Terms govern participation by an eligible Bonus Batch business owner (Referral Partner) in the Bonus Batch Business Referral Program. The Program is operated in Canada by DP Schmitz Holdings Ltd o/a Bonus Batch. Activating or using a referral code confirms acceptance of these Terms and the version recorded in the Business Account.
2. Referring business eligibility
A referral code may be activated only after at least one storefront under the owner profile has remained verified and in active service for 90 days, completed valid non-refunded pickups in three distinct calendar months, maintained a current Business Partner Agreement and verified payout account, and passed Bonus Batch safety, financial, fraud, and account review. Eligibility is not transferable between unrelated owners.
3. Eligible referred locations
A referred location must be a new Canadian Bonus Batch location, use the Referral Partner's valid link or code in its original application, not already be a Bonus Batch location or active lead, and not have been attributed to another referral source. A duplicate, self-referral, related-party referral, recycled account, test account, or referral created through misleading conduct is not eligible.
4. Standard commission and qualification
The standard commission is CAD $100 for each eligible referred location. It is earned only after the referred location is approved, completes its first valid paid and non-refunded customer pickup, has an active agreement and payout account, and passes Bonus Batch safety, fraud, financial, and owner review. A sign-up, application, approval, listing, checkout attempt, cancelled order, refund, or test payment does not by itself earn a commission.
5. Tracking and attribution
Bonus Batch records the valid referral code submitted with the original business application. Attribution is assigned to the last valid code accepted before submission and cannot normally be changed afterward. Bonus Batch may correct a documented technical error but is not required to resolve private disputes between potential referrers.
6. Payment
Approved commissions are added to the Referral Partner's affiliate balance and paid through its verified payout account under the payout timing shown in the Business Account. The minimum affiliate payout is CAD $25 unless a different amount is displayed before acceptance. Bonus Batch may withhold payment while a refund, chargeback, fraud, safety, identity, ownership, tax, or compliance review remains open.
7. Taxes and records
Referral commissions are stated before any tax that may apply. The Referral Partner is responsible for providing accurate legal and tax information and for reporting income and remitting taxes assigned to it by law. Where permitted, the Referral Partner authorizes Bonus Batch to generate a self-billing statement or invoice record for an approved commission. Records are deemed accepted unless disputed in writing within 14 days.
8. Marketing, consent, and disclosure
The Referral Partner must market honestly, disclose that it may earn a CAD $100 commission, and comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, the Competition Act, privacy laws, and other applicable requirements. It must not send bulk or misleading messages, make guaranteed-income claims, impersonate Bonus Batch, or submit another person's contact information without lawful authority or consent. Bonus Batch does not authorize a Referral Partner to send messages on its behalf.
9. Privacy
Referral tracking is limited to information reasonably required to attribute the application, prevent fraud, assess qualification, issue payment, and maintain audit records. A Referral Partner may see the referred business name and referral status but will not receive customer information, private application records, banking details, or confidential review evidence.
10. Brand use
Bonus Batch grants an active Referral Partner a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use approved referral links and supplied program materials only to promote the Program in Canada. Bonus Batch names, logos, artwork, and statements may not be altered or used in a domain name, paid-search advertisement, misleading social account, or manner suggesting ownership, employment, agency, or guaranteed approval.
11. Fraud, suspension, and reversal
Bonus Batch may hold, deny, reverse, or recover a commission and suspend or close a referral account where it reasonably identifies duplicate attribution, self-dealing, collusion, fabricated activity, refunded or disputed qualifying orders, unsafe conduct, unlawful marketing, account manipulation, or a breach of these Terms. Decisions and supporting events are recorded in the audit history.
12. Program changes and termination
Bonus Batch may pause, change, or end the Program prospectively. Material changes will be displayed in the Business Account or otherwise communicated as required by law. A commission already finally approved for payment will not be removed solely because the Program later changes, but fraud, refunds, chargebacks, legal requirements, and corrections remain subject to section 11.
13. Relationship and liability
Participation does not create employment, partnership, franchise, agency, exclusivity, or authority to bind Bonus Batch. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bonus Batch is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages arising from the Program. Bonus Batch's aggregate liability relating to a referral will not exceed the commission finally approved for that referral, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Subject to law that requires otherwise, disputes are submitted to the courts located in Calgary, Alberta. Questions or disputes may be sent to support@bonusbatch.ca with the subject Business Referral Program.
